Hello There, Im Deric

Software Engineer | Building Web & Mobile Products

I am Deric Navino, an undergraduate Computer Science student at State University of Jakarta. I build reliable end-to-end digital products and use data analysis to drive better product decisions.

My goal is to connect product thinking with engineering execution: understanding user problems, designing clear implementation strategies, then shipping solutions that are maintainable and measurable.

Location: Indonesia

Status: Open for collaboration

Focus: Web, Apps, Data

Profile

I build products that are practical, clear, and measurable.

I enjoy creating convenient and visually thoughtful digital experiences. My focus is full-stack web and mobile app development, while continuously growing in data analysis and machine learning.

My work style emphasizes clear architecture, practical UI decisions, and iterative improvements from concept to deployment.

I am particularly interested in products where data is not only collected, but translated into decisions such as improving user flows, identifying friction points, and measuring feature effectiveness over time.

Current Direction

  • Full-stack academic and productivity platforms
  • Mobile finance and utility applications
  • Data-informed product workflows

Challenge: Manual school administration caused slow reporting cycles, inconsistent student records, and repetitive teacher workload.

Implementation: Designed modular frontend screens for student, teacher, and admin roles, implemented REST APIs for record operations, and structured relational schemas for grade and attendance integrity.

Outcome: Reduced repetitive data entry, improved grading consistency, and gave stakeholders faster access to operational information.

Challenge: Users often lose visibility of daily spending because tracking feels complicated and inconsistent across categories.

Implementation: Implemented local data persistence, transaction categorization, summary aggregation, and chart-ready data models for spending analysis views.

Outcome: Improved personal finance visibility by turning raw transactions into understandable monthly trends and category breakdowns.

Challenge: The team needed a stable commerce foundation that could handle product browsing, cart updates, and order transactions with predictable behavior.

Implementation: Developed backend data flows for catalog and checkout operations, validated order states, and optimized query patterns for common storefront interactions.

Outcome: Created a reliable transaction path from product discovery to checkout confirmation with better data consistency.

Challenge: The project required believable physics interactions while keeping controls responsive and gameplay states easy to maintain.

Implementation: Implemented collision detection, velocity and friction calculations, turn-state transitions, and scoring logic for a playable simulation loop.

Outcome: Delivered a stable and engaging gameplay prototype that demonstrates understanding of simulation logic and performance-conscious coding.
